From 14th-18th November Bishop Thomas Grant School will be promoting Anti-Bullying Week. The theme this year is ‘Power for Good’.
Anti-Bullying Week shines a spotlight on bullying and encourages all children, teachers and parents to take action against bullying throughout the year. To download a ‘Top anti-bullying tips’ sheet for parents and carers, please click here.
Bishop Thomas Grant is a 'Telling School' with zero tolerance towards bullying. All assemblies throughout Anti-Bullying Week will centre on the theme of challenging bullying in any form. As part of Enterprise Week (also taking place between 14th and 18th November) Year 8 students will be encouraged to use their creative skills in order to design an anti-bullying campaign.
Anti-Bullying Week in England is coordinated by the Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA), a unique coalition of organisations and individuals, who work together to stop bullying and create safer environments in which children and young people can live, grow, play and learn.
