Ofsted Outstanding 2014-15
Bishop Thomas Grant School was inspected in October 2014 and judged to be Outstanding in all four areas of the inspection: Leadership and Management; Behaviour and Safety; Quality of Teaching; and Achievement of Pupils. The Bishop Thomas Grant Sixth Form was also judged to be Outstanding.

Leading Edge is a national network for high performing schools with a commitment to raising achievement through collaboration and innovation. The school has to meet stringent criteria to qualify for membership of this network.
Gold Club Membership 2014-2015
London Schools Gold Club is an exclusive group of London schools which are deemed to be exceptional in their practice and which make the difference with all groups of students (More able, Gifted and Talented, Special Educational Needs, Pupil Premium, Socially Disadvantaged etc.). These are high performing schools that are asked to share their good practice and their experience with other London schools.
National Education Business Award
Bishop Thomas Grant School won the national award for Outstanding progress in Secondary Education. The Citation at the recent prestigious ceremony held in the City of London read: "A strong focus on STEM subjects has consistently helped students to secure places at top universities. The Department for Education recently praised the 'excellent progress' made, in particular the work it does to help disadvantaged young people. More Able, Gifted and Talented Students, as well as those with SEN, are catered for in this ambitious and successful learning environment."
SSAT Educational Outcomes Award 2014
