Streatham at War

On 13 November 2015, Bishop Thomas Grant School Year 9 and 12 students spent the afternoon using battalion war diaries from the First World War to find out about local men who had lost their lives in the conflict.  The historical writing they produced is available using the links below:

In carrying out their research, students were supported by Professor Richard Grayson (Goldsmiths, University of London).  He was working as part of Living Legacies, utilising methods first designed for the Hemel at War Project. Photos from his visit are available below!
