Year 7 Appeals

Should an application be unsuccessful, there is an appeals process which takes place. The dates of this process for the 2018/19 academic year are as follows.

If a place at the school is not offered, parents/carers have the right to appeal to an Independent Appeal’s Panel set up according to the School Admission Appeals Code of Practice.

Friday 29th March 2019 – Deadline for parents to lodge a request to appeal.

You must request an appeal application pack in writing by Friday 29th March 2019 either by letter or email to:Mrs S Weir, School Admissions Officer, Bishop Thomas Grant School, Belltrees Grove SW16 2HY

or by Email: admissions@btg-secondary.lambeth.sch.uk

The appeal schedule for Secondary School Transfer 2019 is as follows:Friday 29th March 2019 – Deadline for Parents/Carers to inform the school of their intention to appeal in writing.

Tuesday 21st May, Wednesday 22nd May and Thursday 23rd May 2019 – Admissions Appeal Hearings.Thursday 24th May & Friday 25th May 2018 - Admission Appeal Hearings
