Retreats

As a Catholic School we are committed to the development of each student as a whole and unique person, a commitment that extends to spiritual growth and maturity. Thus each student in Years 7, 8, 9 ,10 and 12 participates in a Retreat Day once a year in support of their faith development. These days create a wonderful opportunity for students to retreat from the daily routine of school life and build deeper relationships with God and each other. Retreats take place in a variety of venues. The retreats are run by the School Chaplain and take place at locations such as St Cassian's Centre in Kintbury, St Bartholomew’s and Aylesford Shrine. These days create a wonderful opportunity for students to retreat from the daily routine of school life and build deeper relationships with God and each other.

The aim of our programme is to help the pupils: to get to know and understand themselves better, and to appreciate themselves more; to appreciate more the place of God in our world and in their life and to celebrate their faith.

The retreat is not an optional activity but part of our programme of learning and development in a Catholic context.
