Art Exhibition 2022
This year for the first time since lockdown began; the Art department have been delighted to be able to once again invite students, parents, governors and staff to the annual Art exhibition. The exhibition displayed the hard work and achievement of GCSE, BTEC and A level Art student’s work. It was wonderful to hear the positive comments that people made about the students and their work. The work covers a range of creative disciplines from drawing and painting to 3D and print. The work displayed demonstrates the student’s ideas and concepts in relation to the themes they were exploring. The GCSE themes were, Natural worlds and Apart and or together. The BTEC students themes included Creative Landscapes, Nature in Close up, Introspection and illumination. A Level students choose their own theme for their personal line of investigation so a wider range of subject matter is evident throughout their work.
For the first time we are also now, extremely pleased to display the students work virtually on our Bishop Thomas Grant School website so it can be viewed by all of the community to further celebrate their success and achievement and to inspire our future generations of budding artists.
